This game was the only lost that the champ conceded in this tournament. Noorullah, playing white, decided to play Sicillian Alapin, avoiding Sicillian Dragon which both players are well-versed. White exchanged the queen at c5, resulting his pawn blockading isolated c6 pawn and make it vulnerable. Black's decision to bring his King to defend the c6 pawn and leave the King's pawn 22. ... Kd7 proves fatal. 22. ... Bb5 might be better.
